Las Palmas striker Loic Remy confirms he wants to leave the club because of a ‘lack of respect’ from Coach Paco Jemez.
The French striker has netted six goals in 13 appearances for Los Amarillos after arriving on a free transfer this summer but has been dropped from the team by the team’s new Coach.
“We turned up one minute late for a dinner and then we were left out of the team,” an exasperated Remy is cited as saying by La Provincia.
“The Coach treated me like a piece of rubbish and I'm not going back because what happened to me was a total lack of respect from the Coach.
“I do not want to say that I am a vital player but at the time I was the club’s leading scorer and suddenly I’m taking out of the team.”
A report this week in Marca suggested Levante saw a bid rejected by Remy.
