Juventus are open to selling midfielder and reported Barcelona target Rodrigo Bentancur for €45m, claim Calciomercato.
Last week, Calciomercato cited a report from Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport which claimed the deep-lying midfielder is in demand with both the Spanish and Manchester City interested in a deal.
The Uruguay international turned 22 back in June and has been in Turin since the summer of 2017 in a €12.5m deal, when he joined from Argentine giants Boca Juniors.
Bentancur made 40 competitive appearances for the Bianconeri last season, contributing two goals and three assists, but just three of his nine competitive appearances this season under new boss Maurizio Sarri have been starts.
The midfield positions at the Old Lady are crowded this season with Aaron Ramsey, Blaise Matuidi, Emre Can, Adrien Rabiot, Sami Khedira, Miralem Pjanic and Bentancur all among the options.
Such a state of flux leaves the door open for a possible deal next year.
