Midfielder Emanuel Cecchini has continued the exodus from relegated Malaga as he has rejoined former club Banfield on a loan deal.
The 21-year-old only made two La Liga appearances for the Costa Del Sol club – neither as a starter – and joined Mexican club Tigres on loan in January.
The central midfielder made his professional debut for the top flight Argentine club Banfield in 2016, where he made 34 appearances in all competitions while El Desmarque now say a return is 'imminent'.
Cecchini was identified by the Andalucian’s sporting director Francesc Arnau as a direct replacement for Pablo Fornals, who departed Estadio Rosaleda for Villarreal in a €12m deal.
The Argentine arrived at Malaga in a €5m deal and after only 96 minutes of first-team football, now appears close to leaving the club permanently.
