Saul Niguez has ruled out the possibility he will leave Atletico Madrid this summer despite speculation linking him with a move to Barcelona.
The 22-year-old had been linked with a move to the Camp Nou by El Mundo Deportivo and Diario AS should the Catalans failed to land to Marco Verratti from Paris Saint-Germain.
"I have no intention of moving,” is quoted as saying by AS.
"I'm where I want to be and things are going to remain the same. They [Atletico] have put their trust in me since I was young, and I want to repay that confidence."
Saul fired the Spanish Under 21 side into the European Championships final with a hat-trick against Italy on Tuesday and signed a five-year contract with Los Rojiblancos in May 2016.
