Felipe Caicedo is set to leave Espanyol this summer with the club willing to let him leave on a loan deal, according to a report.
According to Diario Sport, the Catalan club are keen to offload the striker this summer with the main issue being the lack of suitors.
Clubs in Turkey and Russia have reportedly informed Espanyol of their interest but the Ecuadorian has no intention of moving to either of those leagues, while no Spanish clubs are keen.
In January, both AS and Cadena Ser reported West Bromwich Albion had enquired for the 28-year-old so it is possible the Baggies will reignite their interest.
Having had spells at Manchester City, Malaga, Sporting CP, Basel, Lokomotiv Moscow and Levante has only netted twice in 14 league appearances for Espanyol this season.
