Felipe Caicedo is undergoing a medical with Lazio ahead of a reported €3m transfer from Espanyol.
Caicedo was photographed arriving for his Lazio medical on Saturday morning, which is expected to be a formality.
Sky Sport Italia adds the Ecuadorian has agreed a three-year contract with the Serie A side, worth €1.5m a season.
Caicedo, 28, joined Espanyol in 2014 and scored 24 goals for the Catalans in three seasons.
However, just two of them came last term as the former Manchester City and Levante striker made only 14 starts’ worth appearances in La Liga.
His move had initially been held up due to Lazio’s non-EU quota being full, so whether official confirmation is imminent remains to be seen.
