Espanyol are reportedly on the verge of signing Pablo Piatti after the winger abandoned Valencia’s preseason training camp on Thursday night.
According to Marca, an agreement has been reached between Valencia and Espanyol for Piatti to join Quique Sanchez Flores’ revolution at Cornella-El Prat.
The Argentine joined Los Che from Almeria in 2011 and made 161 appearances for the club in five seasons but failed to score in 21 La Liga matches last season as the side limped to a 12th-place finish.
