Zinedine Zidane felt Real Madrid's “attitude” was the key to their 5-0 victory over Deportivo La Coruna in La Liga on Saturday.
Gareth Bale's hat-trick and Karim Benzema's brace ensured the Frenchman began his reign in charge of Los Blancos on a positive footing, and he hailed his side for an accomplished performance after the game.
“I'm happy with our first game and four days of training,” he said.
“What I liked most [about our performance] was the attitude of everyone. A 5-0 win isn't easy to achieve.
“[I liked] the attitude of everyone, including those who played and those who didn't.
“The idea is to play good football.”
