Espanyol’s Real Madrid loanee Burgui has claimed that Gerard Pique “is a good footballer but leaves much to be desired as a person”.
Los Periquitos host Pique’s club on Saturday in the first Catalan derby of the season, and the winger admits he is not a fan of the defender’s personality in light of his anti-Blancos agenda.
“[Pique’s] a good footballer but leaves much to be desired as a person,” Burgui was quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo.
“However, I’d like to go out with Dani Alves for a drink because he always jokes around like me.”
