Gerard Pique beats The Superleague to free football: loyal Andorra fans to be rewarded in unique scheme

Former Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has been busy since his retirement from action on the pitch, expanding his Kings League and Queens League across the globe. There’s also his role as Andorra president.

The Andorran team could not defy the odds to remain in Segunda for a third straight season, and were relegated back to the third tier after their first two seasons at that level. However Pique and co. have come up with a way to ensure there is little drop off in support in the ground.

As reported by Relevo, Andorra will offer free season tickets for the 2025-26 season to fans that attend all of their home games during this campaign. The tickets are transferable, and those that attend 12 of their home games will get half-price on a shirt for next season. The measures will continue regardless of what division Andorra are in.

Clearly, Andorra have to be in a place of financial security to be able to front such an idea. It’s certainly a method of getting fans through the door though, and a manner of encouraging and rewarding the most committed fans. The season tickets for this year range between €80 to €190.
