Alejandro Arribas has lamented a lack of trust in his qualities from Sevilla Coach Unai Emery after leaving for Deportivo La Coruna.
Arribas spent only a year under Emery at Sevilla, having joined after Osasuna were relegated, making 14 appearances for Los Rojiblancos.
ABC de Sevilla note Arribas was a long-term target of sporting director Monchi but Arribas is quoted as telling La Voz de Galicia that he didn’t click with the Coach.
“A player has to feel loved and important within the team and at Sevilla, for whatever reason the Coach didn’t trust me,” he said.
“Deportivo made their interest clear, I saw they really wanted me and I’m very happy with my decision.”
