Samu Omorodion offered fresh Premier League transfer option as Atletico Madrid push for sale

Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion could be offered a new Premier League transfer to Aston Villa.

The 20-year-old’s future in Madrid is uncertain after a €35m move to Chelsea fell through this month.

That delayed deals between the clubs, which saw Conor Gallagher land in Madrid, and Joao Felix return to Chelsea.

However, Los Rojiblancos remain determined to move Omorodion on before the La Liga transfer window closes on August 30, as they plan more reinforcements.

As per the latest update from the Daily Mail, Villa have registered an interest, as Unai Emery builds for their first ever UEFA Champions League campaign.

Atletico Madrid will push for a price close to what Chelsea offered, but Emery has time on his side, and could force that valuation down to below €30m.

Omorodion netted eight top-flight league goals on loan at Alaves last season and could replace Jhon Duran at Villa Park if the Colombian international is moved on by Emery next week.
