Juan Carlos Garrido has thanked Real Betis for his time at the club, despite being sacked late on Sunday.
The Coach replaced Pepe Mel at the Verdiblancos, but lasted just 48 days at Benito Villamarin after losing all five of his games.
“My time at Real Betis has come to an end,” he posted on his official website. “Firstly, I want to thank the club and its fans, because for me it’s been a real honour to have worked with your club.
“Despite having to say goodbye sooner than I’d have liked, I have felt the commitment and passion of the fans.
“During my time I have had the pleasure of working with some great people. I was surrounded by a group of skilled professionals – people who have worked hard to take the club forward.
“I also cannot forget the players. I wish them all the luck for the future. I am convinced that Real Betis will achieve its goals.
“Finally, I want to thank the fans again, who are one of the best in Spain.”
