Villarreal President Fernando Roig has admitted that the club are interested in Giovani dos Santos, but that he isn’t their only option.
Mexican international Dos Santos is expected to be the subject of a bidding war this summer in light of his current side Mallorca’s relegation from the Primera Division.
Said to have spoken to Valencia already, the 24-year-old has also been linked with Malaga and Sevilla.
Los Che’s regional rivals Villarreal can now be added to the list, courtesy of their President.
“Giovani is a player that we like and who we value as a good option,” Roig conceded to EFE this week.
“We have a long list of options and we cannot deny that Gio is one of them, but he is one among many others.”
