Espanyol defender Victor Alvarez has revealed that he is desperate to get back playing, just one month after heart surgery.
The 20-year-old had to have his aortic valve operated on in May, but the Spanish Under-19 international has claimed he is getting better all the time.
“I'm feeling fine,” he told reporters. “I've been noticing improvements every day.
“Now I have to wait six-to-eight weeks to see everything has gone well.
“I am calm, but I have to be patient.”
