Getafe are understood to have rejected a €4m offer for striker Miku from Trabzonspor, reports Marca.
The Madrid club are looking to offload at least three players before the end of the transfer window on August 31, yet President Angel Torres considers the bid from the Turkish outfit to be half of what he is asking for the Venezuelan international.
El Geta turned down a €3m bid from Michael Laudrup’s Swansea City in July and are hoping the Welsh club may come back with a more attractive proposal, particularly since they have received €15m from the transfer of Joe Allen to Liverpool.
Laudrup is believed to be on the trail of Valencia’s Pablo Hernandez but if he is unsuccessful in luring the 27-year-old away from Mestalla he could well be prepared to up his offer for Miku.
Meanwhile, defender Alexis is in line to play against Sevilla in the season’s opener at the Sanchez Pizjuan on Saturday, with his loan contract not containing a clause that prevents him appearing against his parent club.
