Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde was in pragmatic mood following his side's battling 2-1 La Liga win away at Leganes.
Second half goals from Luis Suarez and substitute Arturo Vidal secured a valuable three points for the defending champions, as they remain top of the La Liga table.
However, the former Athletic Bilbao boss acknowledged that their away form continues to be a concern this season.
"To come back and win the game from a losing position is a real positive," he stated to reporters from Marca after the game.
"We have not played brilliantly today, but it is vital to win these types of games."
"It was a complicated game for us, and not made easier by the weather or the state of the pitch."
Barcelona lost away at Leganes last season, and Valverde hinted that today's victory indicated they are on the right track in the coming weeks.
"We lost here last season, and we knew that a win here today would be difficult."
"Our form away from home has not been great this season, but we passed a big test today."
"We know that we must come to stadiums like this and win, if we are to win the league title."
Barcelona now face a crucial week of games, with Borussia Dortmund heading to the Camp Nou in midweek in Champions League, before a critical trip to Atletico Madrid next weekend.
