Luka Jovic ruled out for Real Madrid trip to Eibar

Luka Jovic has joined a growing injury list for Real Madrid ahead of their trip to Eibar tonight.

The Serbian international, who netted his first Real Madrid goal in the 5-0 La Liga win over Leganes last month, picked up a minor thigh problem in training, which  has ruled him out this weekend.

According to reports in Marca, Zinedine Zidane has opted to give him an extended rest ahead of the international break, as the 21-year old looks to return to full fitness.

Zidane also confirmed that Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez remain sidelined through injury, with Alvaro Odriozola and Mariani Diaz also missing out on the clash at the Estadio Ipurua.

However, Vinicius Junior and Brahim Diaz have both been recalled following recent injuries.
