It’s a difficult time for Barcelona – Clement Lenglet

Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet admitted the club are going through a ‘difficult time’ after being booed off against Slavia Prague.

The Blaugrana were hugely disappointing in the scoreless draw at the Camp Nou which means their hopes of progressing from a tough group are no longer guaranteed.

It followed on just three days after Valverde’s side slipped to a 3-1 league defeat at Levante – their third loss in La Liga in just 11 outings.

Fans voiced their displeasure at the full-time whistle on Tuesday with the visiting Czech side a superior team and creating chances themselves to pick up all three points.

“It's a difficult time. People have the right to express what they feel and we have to accept that,” Lenglet told reporters, as cited by Marca.

“We are here to try our best – sometimes it comes off and sometimes it doesn't, and tonight was one of those times.

“We knew Slavia were a dangerous and quality rival. They have not surprised us. We have suffered at some moments in the game.

“We have no time to worry We have to work and leave every three days. We are going to change these things.”
