West Ham and Wolves want Milan’s Suso

Wolves and West Ham are both keen on landing Milan forward Suso, according to a report in Calciomercato.

Suso underwhelmed Milan fans during Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Lecce, in Pioli’s first game at the helm and that was followed by supporters tweeting #SusoOut – to the extent, the phrase began trending nationwide in Italy – as cited by our sister site Football Italia.

The Cadiz-native is said to have a €38m release clause in his contract but there are suggestions this only applies to clubs outside of Italy.

The Spaniard did score an impressive eight goals alongside providing 10 assists last season and would likely cost upwards of €30m according to the report.

The former Liverpool winger, 25, made his international debut for Spain in November 2017 and has starred for the Rossoneri since but has lost form in recent times.

Suso, who has managed just one assist in eight Serie A matches this season, is in the final three years of his contract.
