Munas Dabbur to leave Sevilla without playing

Munas Dabbur is set to leave Sevilla this summer despite never having played a game for the club, report Diario AS.

The striker has not featured in either of the first two Sevilla matchday squads of the campaign under boss Julen Lopetegui and Bordeaux are favourites for his signature.

Last week, Marca cited a report from Estadio Deportivo which claims the Israeli striker – a €15m summer arrival from RB Salzburg, will be allowed to depart the Andalusian club without playing a game.

Sevilla are only prepared to listen to permanent offers for the striker, who was one of 11 summer arrivals at the club this summer.

The striker notched up a hugely impressive 66 goals across the last two campaigns for the Austrian club including 12 strikes in 14 appearances in European football last season.

However, Los Rojiblancos have a number of attacking options in their squad including Nolito and Munir El Haddadi, alongside another summer arrival – Luuk de Jong from PSV Eindhoven.

Dabbur has not been involved in the first matchday squads of the season for Julen Lopetegui’s side and this has further fuelled speculation that he could make a shock exit from the club.
