Real Madrid rule out Rodrygo Goes loan exit

Real Madrid will not sanction a loan exit for forward Rodrygo Goes despite the club receiving offers, report Diario AS.

The 18-year-old had starred with Santos in his native Brazil before joining Madrid this summer after the two club’s struck a €45m deal in 2018.

Despite currently recovering from an injury, the Brazilian trained with the first-team squad of Los Blancos this summer and impressed in brief pre-season outings.

However, he is not thought to be involved in first-team action this campaign and it had been suggested he would play with the club’s Castilla team for the forthcoming campaign.

Previous reports have added that Rodrygo currently takes up one of the three non-EU spots in Madrid’s squad alongside Vinicius Junior and Eder Militao.

That means that the club could not facilitate a move for another non-EU player as things stand, with Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar reportedly on the club’s radar.

Takefusa Kubo was loaned out to Real Mallorca for the season but suggestions that Rodrygo will take a similar exit now appear to have petered out.
