Valencia keen on Milan striker Andre Silva

Valencia are keeping tabs on Milan striker Andre Silva ahead of a late summer move, according to Radio Taronja.

Spain international Rodrigo Moreno has been linked to Atletico Madrid in a €60m deal and Silva, who spent last season on loan at Sevilla, is Los Che’s ideal replacement.

The Portugal international had not started a match for the Andalusian club since March and left the club in May with he and Sevilla at odds over a knee injury.

The 23-year-old got his career at Los Rojiblancos off to a flying start with seven goals in his first seven La Liga appearances, but added just two more in the league in 20 showings since.

The Andalusian club signed the Portugal international on a season-long loan deal from the Milanese giants last summer for an initial €4m and with a €39m option to sign him permanently, which they did not take up.

Monaco and Leicester City had also been linked to the striker, who appeared to have little future at the Milanese giants, whom he joined from Porto in 2017.
