Real Valladolid eye sensational loan deal for Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior

Real Valladolid are intent on securing a sensationally season-long loan deal for Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior, report El Mundo Deportivo.

The teenage Brazilian forward arrived at the outgoing European champions last summer and made an exciting impression in his debut season for the club.

The 18-year-old netted four goals across 20 starts for Los Blancos, the majority of which came under Zinedine Zidane’s predecessor Santiago Solari – before a late season injury.

Any move away this summer appears fanciful, with the report claiming Valladolid president Ronaldo Nazario – who has strong links to Madrid – is the driving force behind a deal.

Los Merengues are set to overgo somewhat of a squad overhaul this summer with several new faces set to arrive, including Chelsea star Eden Hazard – who plays in a similar role to Vinicius.

“I have already requested the deal,” Ronaldo said, as cited by Diario AS.

“We do not have the money to bring in players of that quality but we want to bring him here and I have spoken to Madrid directly about this.

“If there was the possibility of the deal then I will try to make it happen, but Florentino Perez (his Real Madrid counterpart) has told me it would be difficult.”
