Arthur ruled out of Barcelona clash with Getafe

Barcelona will be without midfielder Arthur Melo for their clash with Getafe later today, after the Brazilian was ruled out with a thigh injury.

The Brazilian international picked up the injury in training earlier this week, and he is not risked for this weekend, under the advice of the club's medical staff.

Manager Ernesto Valverde is expected to hand some more La Liga minutes to his fringe players, with the La Liga title already wrapped up, and the Copa del Rey final two weeks away, with Riqui Puig and Abel Ruiz potential starters for the hosts.

Luis Suarez is also absent from the squad that welcomes Jose Bordalas' side to the Camp Nou, after undergoing knee surgery earlier this week, with French international Ousmane Dembele still out as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury picked up last weekend at Celta Vigo.
