Zidane: Playing for nothing is hard

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has called for some perspective on his team's performances, after the struggled to a 2-1 win over Eibar on Saturday.

Two second half goals from Karim Benzema saved Los Blancos from a second successive defeat, and the Zidane has called for patience.

"This season we will win nothing,and we already know that.

"Playing for nothing is hard."

The former Galactico was keen to direct any negativity away from the first half performance, preferring instead to focus on the improvements after the break.

"In the second half we changed things.

"We ran more, we were together and that changed the game.

"In the end, we must congratulate the players, as they battled hard and helped each other a lot."
