Barcelona are interested in signing Arsenal left-back Nacho Monreal as a back-up to Jordi Alba, according to reports.
The 33-year-old joined the Gunners from Malaga in January 2013 and has gone on to make 227 first-team appearances for the club but is out of contract this summer.
The Mirror report that the full-back, who has been capped 22 times for the Spanish national team, would be brought in to deputise for Alba – who recently penned a new long-term contract at the Camp Nou.
Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis, also out of contract in June, has been linked with a summer switch to the Blaugrana.
