Former Real Madrid forward Jese Rodriguez set for Torino

Former Real Madrid forward Jese Rodriguez looks set to join Italian club Torino on a loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain, claim reports.

Sportitalia claim Torino are keen on a deal although the Parisian club will have to cover 60% of the player’s wages for the remainder of the campaign.

Real Betis are said to have turned down the opportunity to sign the forward who has not featured in any matchday squad for the French club this season.

The Spaniard – who has not played a single minute of football this season – turns 26 next month while reports from December stated the player was likely to join Real Valladolid from PSG.

Jese scored three goals in 16 appearances for his hometown club Las Palmas in a loan stint in the second half of 2016/17 after netting just twice in 14 appearances in Paris.

The former Spain Under-21 international made a total of 94 first-team appearances for Real Madrid and previously had also been linked with a loan move to Huesca.
