Sevilla’s Director of Football Joaquin Caparros has refused to rule out the possibility of a move for Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.
Morata joined the Blues from Real Madrid in a €65m deal last summer but has struggled for form during the majority of his time in the English capital.
“There are many possibilities we are working on,” Caparros told reporters when asked directly about Morata, as cited by Estadio Deportivo.
“The most important thing is that the player himself wants to join Sevilla.”
The Spain international has found the back of the net 17 goals in 71 appearances for the West London outfit but has once again fallen out of favour.
Estadio Deportivo saw the striker is high on the list of Caparros, with the club having allowed Luis Muriel to leave for Fiorentina.
Morata has just scored one goal in his last ten appearances for club and country – a Europa League strike against Greek side PAOK.
