Casemiro has called on full trust to be placed in Real Madrid’s players and embattled Coach Julen Lopetegui ahead of Sunday’s El Clasico.
The Brazilian midfielder admitted the side were not playing well but believes Tuesday night’s win over Viktoria Plzen could be the springboard for a strong run of form.
“We must trust in ourselves and in the Coach,” Casemiro told reporters, as cited by Marca.
“We are not on a good run at the moment but this result (against Viktoria Plzen) has to give us confidence and a little momentum.
“At the moment we are not playing at the level that we should be but it was important to pick up an important three points tonight and continue to work on solutions to our problem.
“At the Camp Nou we know it will be very difficult to win but we go there to win, it is the only thing in our mind.”
