With the number of public sexual assault and rape cases involving footballers rising sharply in recent years, Head of the School for the Education of Managers (CENAFE) Miguel Angel Galan has published a consent form that he claims is now regular process for footballers having relations.
Galan, who has been heavily involved in the political side of Spanish football in recent times, has published a form that he says is being used by La Liga footballers as regular practice these days. The form in question is in English though, and he has explained on Cuatro (as recounted by MD) that the form came into his possession after it was passed on by a foreign player.

He went on to claim that he had express knowledge that two players in La Liga were using the contract, one in Tercera too, as well as various methods of recording consent, such as mobile applications.
This has emerged the week after Valencia forward Rafa Mir spent two nights in police custody after being accused of sexual assault, which he has strongly denied. Former Barcelona right-back Dani Alves has also been convicted of rape earlier this year pending appeal, and faces a 4.5-year prison sentence if his appeal is unsuccessful.
