Real Madrid’s rotten luck continuing? Midfielder withdraws from international duty with injury problem

Real Madrid have had no luck with injuries these past few weeks. Eduardo Camavinga and Jude Bellingham are already out with problems picked up over the last month, and in recent days, it was revealed that Ferland Mendy and Dani Ceballos have also sustained blows. Remarkably, another player has now been affected.

As reported by RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins, Aurelien Tchouameni has pulled out of France’s squad for their UEFA Nations League matches against Italy and Belgium. A foot problem has been cited as the reason, and at this stage, it’s unknown whether or not the injury was sustained while playing for Real Madrid over the weekend.

With Bellingham, Camavinga and Ceballos already out, Real Madrid cannot afford Tchouameni to also be missing. If he were to be absent for at least two weeks, it would mean that Carlo Ancelotti only has Luka Modric and Federico Valverde as central midfield options for the trip to Real Sociedad after the international break.
