Barcelona submit offer for Liverpool star as moves made to replace stricken Marc Bernal

Barcelona have entered the market for a new defensive midfielder, following news that Marc Bernal will miss the remainder of the season after rupturing his ACL in the latter stages of Tuesday’s victory over Rayo Vallecano. A low-cost option is wanted, and they appear to have settled on their ideal target.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that an offer has been submitted to Liverpool for Stefan Bajcetic. If accepted, the teenager – who is not in the plans of Arne Slot for this season – would arrive on loan with no option to buy.

Bajectic has been strongly linked with a return to La Liga in recent weeks. The likes of Real Sociedad and Valencia have registered their interest, but if he does return to Spain, it now seems more than likely that he would be heading to Catalonia.

This is a very smart move for Barcelona to make. Bajcetic has a lot of potential, and he can be a valuable player for this season. For now, it remains to be seen whether Liverpool accept the offer.

  1. Always remember that this club spent 660m in future assets to have its worst trophy period ever.
Lost twice in EL and got beat regularly in clasicos.

Just to compare, we won 13 trophies in last 5 years, where pussiIona won only 3.

If thats not pathetic then I dont know what is.

    PAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
