WATCH: Barcelona complete comeback as Dani Olmo marks debut with goal

Barcelona trailed at half time after a disappointing first half performance against Rayo Vallecano at Vallecas, a stadium where they have struggled in recent years. They’ve managed to turn the game on its head inside 12 second half minutes to lead 2-1, and it’s a special moment for Dani Olmo.

Unai Lopez opened the scoring inside the opening 10 minutes, but his strike was cancelled out by Pedri on the hour mark. Like at the Mestalla on MD1, Barcelona completed the comeback to go 2-1 up, with Robert Lewandowski thinking he had his fourth goal in three matches at the start of this season. However, VAR have called a foul by Jules Kounde in build-up, which means it has been ruled out.

It didn’t matter in the end, as Olmo stepped up to give Barcelona the lead 10 minutes later, finishing from a fine Lamine Yamal assist.

Barcelona are now on course to continue their 100% record, and also end their poor recent record at Vallecas. They don’t have too long to hold on to this lead.
