Vitor Roque is to leave Barcelona in the next few hours to join Real Betis. An agreement between the clubs has been reached, and the 19-year-old striker has already flown into Seville to finalise the deal.

Roque, who only joined Barcelona in January from Athletico Paranaense, was not in Hansi Flick’s plans for this season. A permanent sale had been sought, but the player’s wish to join Betis – who were only offering an initial loan – proved decisive.
MD have revealed details of the loan agreement between Betis and Barcelona. Roque will remain with Los Verdiblancos until the end of the 2025-26 season, and a €25m purchase option will also be included. If triggered, Barcelona would retain a 20% sell-on clause. They would also have the option to buy back Roque from Betis, and they would be able to do so for €27.5m.
Barcelona have decided not to insert a fear clause into the deal, meaning that Roque can face his parent club. His first chance to do so will be on the weekend of the 7th/8th of December, when Betis host the Catalans at the Benito Villamarin.
