Vinicius Junior expected to reject any Saudi Pro League offer

Real Madrid have no intention of selling Vinicius Junior amid transfer interest from the Saudi Pro League.

The transfer rumour mill across Europe has claimed the PIF-backed league are considering an ongoing pursuit of the Brazilian as their next superstar signing in the country.

Reports on the amount Vinicius could earn at a club in Saudi Arabia have varied, but most agree he could earn in excess of €1bn.

However in order to get there, he would have to decide to leave Los Blancos, and Real Madrid would need to negotiate an exit deal for 24-year-old and his €1bn release clause.

Real Madrid have dismissed the early interest and the situation is expected to remain closed until at least next summer at the earliest.

Despite rumours of the Saudi Pro League not being put off by this first rejection from Madrid, transfer expert Matteo Moretto claims any future offers will be turned down, as per Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefing.

Moretto claimed no ‘concrete offers’ landed in Madrid for their star man, and the player would not be interested if they did, but the financial power in the Middle East means the future could be changeable despite an overall dip in spending across the last 12 months.
