Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed his plan to give players unofficial mid-season breaks on their return from international duty, and that will be tested, as part of his strategy to manage game loads.
Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes, Eder Militao and Endrick Felipe have all been called up, with the latter three starting their last game in the Copa America, but all four will see some match action.
Barcelona have received a reprieve for this window, with Raphinha omitted, due to his one game suspension for the Ecuador game.
