Roberto Carlos’ daughter signs for Real Madrid

Real Madrid have a history of relatives at their academy, with four of Zinedine Zidane’s children coming through La Fabrica, as well as the children of Eden Hazard currently being there. Now Roberto Carlos will have another excuse to hang around the pitches at Valdebebas.

Carlos continues to live in Madrid and work as an ambassador for the club, so it remains familiar territory for him, but Relevo have revealed that his daughter has now signed for the club. Manuela Da Silva, aged 15, will join the under-16 women’s side. She is the third Carlos child to play for Los Blancos, with Enzo Alves the further on. He is has been capped at under-15 level for Spain. Like Alves, Da Silva plays an entirely different position as a right-winger.

Da Silva and Alves are two of nine Carlos children from four different mothers, so there may yet be more to Carlos’ to come at Real Madrid.
