Suspect imprisoned in stabbing case involving Lamine Yamal’s father

The story involving Lamine Yamal’s father Mounir Nasraoui has taken another turn with a suspect held in prison following a stabbing in Mataro.

The 38-year-old was stabbed on multiple occasions by four attackers, and rushed to hospital on Wednesday night, triggering a major story in Catalonia.

Despite the initial danger to his health, his condition stabilised, and it became clear he would live.

As part of conversation with journalists from El Chiringuito, Nasraoui claimed he ‘was between life and death’, as he recovered in hospital.

Following the incident, local police confirmed four arrests of his alleged attackers, with the case moved quickly to court in Catalonia.

As per the latest update from El Diario, the Court of Instruction No. 3 of Mataro has held one of the accused in prison, with the other three released on bail.

All suspects have no previous criminal record, but face charges of attempted murder, with bail conditions requiring no contact to be made between the accused and Nasraoui.
