Barcelona‘s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal was given a nasty shock on Wednesday evening, after his father, Mounir Nasraoui, was taken into hospital following a stabbing in his home town of Mataro, to the North of Barcelona. He is believed to be in stable condition.
The police have arrested three of his attackers, and are currently searching for a fourth, after Nasraoui was stabbed on multiple occasions in a knife attack.

The police believe that the incident stemmed from an altercation that took place hours earlier in the streets of his neighbourhood. Nasraoui was seen involved in an argument with three other men, which was then separated by the police.

He could be heard telling the police that they grabbed him and threw him to the ground during their altercation. Hours later, Nasraoui was stabbed in a parking lot before being taken to hospital. Despite initial reports that he had been released, he will stay in hospital under observation, after his condition went from serious to stable.
