Real Madrid dressing room give starlet Endrick Felipe bizarre nickname after England international

Real Madrid‘s dressing room has gained a reputation for the being the most welcoming in years, with the likes of Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe hitting the ground running, while Arda Guler has also enjoyed support during his injury struggles. Endrick Felipe is also getting the treatment.

The 18-year-old will have to wait for his debut, but he did get his hands on the European Supercup on Wednesday night following victory over Atalanta. The Brazilian was very much part of the team according to Marca though, as the comments on his Instagram afterwards revealed. It didn’t take long for people to pick up on Jude Bellingham’s ‘vamos Bobby’ comment.

The nickname Bobby harks back to a game between England and Brazil in March at Wembley, as the Madrid-based paper details. Speaking about playing at England’s national stadium, when Endrick mentioned legendary figure Bobby Charlton.

“I’m really happy to have scored. I’m a big fan of Bobby Charlton, who played a lot of games in this stadium, he’s English and scored a lot of goals. I’m grateful to have played here.”

Endrick ended up scoring the winner in the 80th minute in a 1-0 victory over the Three Lions. Quite how Endrick became to familiar with Charlton is something of mystery. Endrick is not old enough to have seen Ronaldo Nazario at his peak, and clearly someone would have had to put him onto footage of Charlton.
