Barcelona star Lamine Yamal suffered a nasty shock on Wednesday night, after it emerged his father Mounir Nasraoui had been stabbed in a park multiple times. After being rushed to hospital, he was discharged the same night, and is believed to be in relatively good health.
The father of the 17-year-old Euro 2024 winner was walking his dog in his hometown of Mataro, when he reportedly had water thrown over him, and an argument with an unidentified group. Subsequently, this ended up with the defenceless Nasraoui being attacked with a knife.

Cadena Cope say that three people have been arrested in connection with the incident, and police are still searching for a fourth member of the assailants.
Clearly the important thing is that Nasraoui is in good health, and while Lamine Yamal’s age is often brought up, it serves to remember that he is still just a child, and this is a chastening incident for anyone.
