VIDEO: Chilling footage emerges of Eduardo Camavinga cry following training injury

Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga set the alarm bells ringing after he went down in training just 24 hours ahead of the European Supercup and Los Blancos’ season opener against Atalanta. It looks as if the Frenchman will miss the clash.

The 21-year-old did end up leaving the pitch on his own weight, but with a heavy limp after he turned and clutched his knee. It was a somber end to training for Real Madrid through, as his shrill cry of pain rang out across the pitch, silencing his teammates, who quickly rushed to his aid.

Fortunately he appears to have escaped serious injury, and the prognosis is that he has a sprained knee, rather than a muscle tear, but is due to undergo further tests today to establish the true extent of the injury. It is set to be a crucial season for Camavinga, as he battles with Luka Modric for the vacant position left by Toni Kroos in the team.
