Barcelona are still yet to make a big a sale this summer, and with the exception of Ousmane Dembele for €50m to Paris Saint-Germain, are yet to bring in a major fee for anyone since the pandemic. Brazilian winger Raphinha remains the focus of media attention for the Catalan media.
The Brazilian has already turned down approaches from Saudi Arabia, and made it clear both actively and passively that he is not interested in a move to the Barcelona management. It looks as if it would come down to former agent and current sporting director Deco to persuade him to leave, but Sport describe a sale as ‘obligatory’ if an offer of €60m comes in for Raphinha.

The 27-year-old is reportedly on the shortlist for Manchester United this summer too. If Antony leaves, with reported interest from Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, and Jadon Sancho also goes, then the Red Devils will be in the market for a winger. The latter appear to have buried the hatchet with manager Erik ten Hag after a falling out, but United would still be in favour of an exit if it can be done, say the Catalan daily.
Paris Saint-Germain had been the side most closely linked with Sancho, but with the French giants bringing in Desire Doue, that move looks much less likely. Once again with Raphinha, until he can be convinced that there is a better life for him on the other side of a move, Barcelona are stuck with him. Raphinha still has three years left on his deal, and has not performed badly, but neither has he set the world alight, and he remains an asset they could bring in good money for.
