Liverpool starlet open to exit in order for bigger role this season

Liverpool and Spain youngster Stefan Bajcetic endured a difficult second campaign in the Premier League, after bursting onto the scene two years ago. Restricted by injuries to just 11 appearances, he is now keen to get back into the rhythm of things.

Bajcetic believes that he has put his injury issues behind him though, and Relevo say his priority will be regular minutes this season. The 19-year-old is willing to leave Liverpool in order to ensure he gets them. It seems likely this is on loan, and despite the Reds looking for a holding midfielder after Martin Zubimendi turned them down, recent reports have suggested that Arne Slot is willing to let him go out on loan.

Those were before Zubimendi’s decision, so it would be less of a surprise if Slot changed his mind, especially if Liverpool do not pursue another player in the same position. Bajcetic’s quality is not in doubt though, and it would be no surprise if one or two La Liga sides considered a move for the Spanish youth international.
