Carlo Ancelotti approves sales of two Real Madrid talents with €10m asking prices

Real Madrid are prepared to go into the 2024-25 season with a relatively light squad, especially when taking into account the number of matches that could be played. Kylian Mbappe and Endrick Felipe will be the only addition (unless a market opportunity arises), and that includes players from the youth setup.

No one from Castilla is expected to make the definitive step up, despite several youngsters having been on Real Madrid’s pre-season tour of the United States. Mario Martin and Nico Paz were two of those on that trip, but despite being important players for Carlo Ancelotti in the matches against AC Milan, Barcelona and Chelsea, they will not counted on.

As a result, Relevo have reported that Martin and Paz are strong candidates to be sold during the remaining weeks of the summer transfer window. Ancelotti has given the go-ahead of deals to take place – he, like many others at the club, believe this is the best way for the youngsters to continue their development.

Real Madrid are asking for €10m for each player, with a 50% sell-on clause also being included. As of yet, no one is prepared to meet this price for two players with very little experience in professional football, so it’s likely that the asking price will soon be dropped.

  1. Why selling them. It’s very wrong. Madrid should be encouraging the young players and give them chance to play in the first team. But rather Ceballos and Jesús Vallejo should be sold.
