Barcelona beat Real Madrid and Manchester City to signing of 18-year-old talent

Barcelona are constantly looking to strengthen their academy, and in the last few hours, they have managed to do so again with the signing of another exciting young talent.

On Saturday, Barcelona confirmed the signing of Marcos Parriego, who joins from Rayo Vallecano’s youth academy. The 18-year-old playmaker was also courted by Real Madrid and Manchester City, but he has opted to join the famous La Masia academy, where he will be part of the U19 squad.

Parriego, more commonly known as Parri, was previously at La Fabrica. Real Madrid wanted him back, but they are unsuccessful in their efforts to replenish their academy, having already parted ways with several youngsters this summer.

There’s no doubt that Barcelona is an attractive club to be at for any youngster at the moment. So many teenagers have been promoted to the first team over the last 12-18 months, and Parri will fancy his chances of being another.

  1. They didnt “beat” RM, you cant “beat” RM when it comes to transfers, as in roque case.
We merely decided that he isnt fit to play for us.

But for a second rate team as anusIona, he is perhaps adequate.

    PAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAH
