Real Madrid seem to be the nightmare threat for the world’s top players that are running out of time on their contract, and the bad news for Liverpool is that Los Blancos have taken an interest in one of their top players.
Months ago it was revealed that Real Madrid were tracking the situation of Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is out of contract next summer, and is seemingly no closer to signing a new one. In just four months time, Real Madrid will be able to sign him for free.
Earlier this week a video emerged of Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez joking with Alexander-Arnold about a potential move, saying ‘And Real Madrid… Ciao’, which was met with laughter by the England international.
It would be speculative to read too much into it, but there has been talk of Jude Bellingham trying to persuade his best friend in the England camp to join him in the Spanish capital. Los Blancos are also said to be working on his signing, albeit there has been no reported offer as of yet.
