Barcelona offered chance to re-unite Hansi Flick with Bayern Munich winger

Having missed out on Nico Williams, Barcelona remain without a natural left winger in their first team squad – aside from Ansu Fati, who’s currently injured. They’re spending €60m+ on Dani Olmo who is likely to be utilised there, although they could now have the opportunity to sign a specialist for cheap.

As reported by Sport, Barcelona have been offered the chance to sign Kingsley Coman on loan. With the addition of countryman Michael Olise, Coman is unlikely to see regular playing time at Bayern Munich, which is why he has been loan-listed.

Coman is very familiar with Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick, who was his manager at Bayern between 2019 and 2021. He was in fantastic form during that period, so a reunion could be very good for all parties, especially as it would be a low-cost operation.

For now, Barcelona continue to cling onto the slim hope of signing Williams, despite it appearing certain that he will continue at Athletic Club. Once club bosses move on, Coman could become a serious target.
