Real Madrid have already sold several out of favour players this summer, and more look set to follow. One of the next to leave will be Juanmi Latasa, who has no future at the club – despite being on the pre-season tour of the United States.
Latasa is being courted by several clubs in La Liga, as per Diario AS. Real Valladolid are currently favourites to complete a deal, although they are being closely hounded by Espanyol, Rayo Vallecano, Real Betis and Sevilla.
Valladolid are already in talks with Real Madrid, and while an agreement is not imminent, discussions are going well. Juanmi will only be transferred by Los Blancos this summer, with no more loan deals being considered by club bosses.
Juanmi’s inevitable departure will allow further funds to be available to Real Madrid this summer, should they decide to use them. A new centre-back could still be sought, while they are also expected to make one more attempt to secure the services of Alphonso Davies for the 2024-25 season and beyond.
